Bishkek, 2 November: The Eurasian Development Bank should fund SCO [Shanghai Cooperation Organization's] projects, acting Kyrgyz Prime Minister Almazbek Atambayev has said.

"The planned signing of a memorandum on fundamental principles of partnership relations between the SCO interbank association and the Eurasian Development Bank, which was set up by Kazakhstan and Russia in 2006, makes it possible for us to look with optimism at the prospect of the bank's financial resources being channelled into funding certain projects, including through our organization's channels," acting Prime Minister Almazbek Atambayev said at a session of the SCO member states' prime ministers in Tashkent today.
