The Eurasian Transport Network is a network of interconnected latitudinal and meridional international transport corridors and routes that ensure domestic and transcontinental connectivity among Eurasian countries. The core of the Eurasian Transport Network is formed by international east–west and north-south transport corridors connecting Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
The Water and Energy Complex of Central Asia is an interconnected transboundary system of hydroelectric power plants, reservoirs, power plants, electrical grids, irrigation canals, and water supply infrastructure. Its sustainability determines the development of agriculture and manufacturing, improves living standards, and facilitates the progress of regional integration. The key objective of the Complex is to align the winter energy needs of the upstream countries with the spring and summer irrigation needs of the downstream countries.
