RIA Novosti: Minsk may receive the first tranche from the Eurasian Fund for Stabilisation and Development this year
Alisher Mirzoyev, representative of Eurasian Development Bank, stated at Belarusian television on Monday that Belarus might receive the first tranche of the loan from the Eurasian Fund for Stabilisation and Development this year.
Eurasian Development Bank's mission completed its visit to Belarus where it discussed, among other things, a US $3 billion loan requested by the government of the country.The opinion updated with the Council of the Fund's recommendations will be considered in the fourth quarter of this year," Mr Mirzoyev said.
"If it is approved the first tranche may be provided before the end of the year," he added.
