Call for Submissions: Third Annual Open Journalism Contest ‘Eurasian Integration and Development—21st century’

Dear colleagues,

Eurasian Development Bank continues to take submissions for its Third Annual Open Journalism Contest ‘Eurasian Integration and Development—21st century’.

Applications and submissions for the contest for the best media publication on economic integration are accepted until 30 September 2017.

The contest is intended to develop and strengthen intercultural and economic ties between the region's countries and to facilitate dissemination of objective information about Eurasian integration. Journalists from EDB member states – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan – are invited to participate in the contest.

The contest is open to works of journalists published or broadcast over the period of 1 October 2016 to 30 September 2017. An Expert Advisory Board, comprising heads of the Unions of Journalists of all the six EDB member states and created specifically for this purpose, is to ensure objective evaluation of the works.

Contest winners will be awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.

Considering requests received and interest expressed by colleagues, this year’s list of awards has been expanded with two additional nominations – The Best Radio Story and The Best Documentary.

All the nominations are as follows: The Best Information Agency's Story, The Best Internet Publication, The Best Printed Media Publication, The Best TV Story, The Best Radio Story, and The Best Documentary.
