Project overview
EDB’s financing for the production of automated metering systems will help to reduce grid losses by a significant amount and improve energy efficiency in Armenia. The project will lift Tashir’s production capacity to 100,000 energy meters per year. It will also create up to 300 jobs. The EDB is extending US $30 million to the project under a loan agreement.
