Eurasian Transport Network

Increasing transport connectivity is a key priority for Eurasian countries, given their landlocked status and remoteness from deep-sea routes. Eurasian transport corridor infrastructure development increases transport connectivity, reduces transport costs for economic activity and trade, and facilitates the realization of transit and tourism potential of Eurasian countries. The Eurasian Transport Network is a network of interconnected latitudinal and meridional international transport corridors and routes that ensure domestic and transcontinental connectivity among Eurasian countries. The core of the Eurasian Transport Network is formed by international east–west and north- south transport corridors connecting Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
