The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will act as the general partner of the IV International Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Conference in the Kyrgyz Republic, which will take place on October 23–24, 2025, in Bishkek under the topic “Government and Business: Synergy for Strong Partnership.”
The conference will serve as an important platform for discussing the outcomes of the PPP development program in Kyrgyzstan and the wider region, exchanging experiences, and identifying new priorities in state–private sector cooperation. Key topics will include sustainable and “green” infrastructure, as well as the role of PPPs in advancing an inclusive economic development agenda.
On October 23, a series of technical assistance agreements with EDB participation are planned to be signed. These agreements aim to support the development of waste management systems in Kyrgyzstan and enhance institutional PPP capacity in Kazakhstan.
That same day, the official opening of the “EDB PPP Classroom” will take place at the Kyrgyz-Russian (Slavic) University — a new educational space established with the support of EDB and the PPP Center of Kyrgyzstan.
