The Bank is an active participant in global financial markets. The Bank’s capital and available funds are managed in the financial markets according to the Investment Declaration approved by the Bank’s Management Board. The Declaration defines the key principles of investing and the list of authorized financial instruments and transactions. In order to manage market risks there is a tiered system of limits for various types of assets, markets and operations. The Bank’s Committee on Asset and Liability Management is responsible for implementing asset and liability policy and managing market risks as determined by the Bank’s Board. It holds regular meetings and makes executive decisions. As a participant in the development of global and domestic financial markets, the Bank follows the best market practices and is a member of international professional associations such as the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) and the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA).
