ANNOUNCEMENT: The Eurasian Congress to take place on 2 December 2021 in Moscow

Moscow, 10 November 2021. The Second Eurasian Congress will take place in VDNH Pavilion 57 in Moscow on 2 December 2021. The event is hosted by the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) with support from the Government of the Russian Federation.

The Eurasian Congress is an influential forum for open dialogue between governments, businesses, academia, and the expert community on the most pressing issues of development in Eurasia and cooperation between countries to foster the advancement of national economies.

This year, delegates will discuss how businesses, development institutions and public-private partnerships can play a greater role in unlocking the potential of the EAEU+; key cross-border infrastructure projects in transport, logistics, and the water and energy sector; how to ensure food security; priorities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals; green finance and ESG projects; and digital transformation in the countries.

The speakers include Oleg Belozerov, Chairman of the Executive Board, Russian Railways; Igor Shuvalov, Chairman, VEB.RF State Development Corporation; Andrey Kostin, President, VTB Bank; Elena Bunina, General Director, Yandex; Sergey Brilev, President, Global Energy Association; Aleksey Andreev, CEO, Avtoban; Artak Kamalyan, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture, Eurasian Economic Commission; Ivan Krupko, Minister of Agriculture, Republic of Belarus; Askarbek Janybekov, Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development of the Kyrgyz Republic; Vladimir Tatarchuk, Founder, RusAgroMarket; and Pavel Zenkovich, Vice President, Prosveshcheniye Group of Companies.

The Congress will be held in compliance with all sanitary and health requirements. Only delegates, journalists and staff with activated badges will have access to the Congress. Badges will be activated upon proof of a negative PCR test result from an accredited lab. The accredited journalists will be notified of the time of PCR testing and location of the test site before 27 November.
