Bagdat Musin meets with Tigran Sargsyan, Supervisor of the EDB Fund for Digital Initiatives

Astana, 17 October 2023. Tigran Sargsyan, Vice Chairman of the Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) Management Board, held a meeting with Bagdat Musin, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry, during the Digital Bridge 2023 Forum. 

Tigran Sargsyan presented the ongoing projects of the EDB Fund for Digital Initiatives in Kazakhstan. Local companies were among the winners of the Fund’s Digital Project Competitions, which took place in 2020–2021 and 2022–2023. The first project, ForumVR by TenTech, a digital platform for virtual exhibitions, conferences and forums utilising VR technologies, received a grant from the Fund for Digital Initiatives.

The winner of the second competition, EGISTIC Superapp by EGISTIC, a service ecosystem for agricultural producers and consultants, has applied for financing from the Fund.

Bagdat Musin expressed his gratitude to the EDB Fund for Digital Initiatives for its proactive work in the country and its support for digital solutions developed by Kazakhstan’s companies.

The parties agreed to collaborate to scale successful digital solutions developed in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
