EDB compliments the winners of the 5th Research and Publications Contest
Almaty, 24 July 2014. Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) announces the end of the 5th Research and Publications Contest under the Regional Integration Research Programme of the Technical Assistance Fund of EDB and would like to compliment the winners.
This year, the winners are the following individual researchers and groups of authors:
-M.A. Voskanyan (RA). “Challenges and prospects of EurAsEC monetary integration”, Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University;
-A.A. Migranyan, A.S. Akmatalieva (RF). “Macroeconomic evaluation of Eurasian integration effects on competitive opportunities of the region”, Institute of Diaspora and Integration Studies (Institute of CIS countries);
-A.B. Temirbekova, A.T. Uskelenova, Sh.A. Boluspaev, N.A. Aldabergenov (RK). “Effects of Kazakhstan’s integration into the Eurasian Economic Union on the competitiveness of the national agro-industrial complex”, International Academy of Business;
-A.A. Medkov, A.V. Anosov, Z.K. Zoidov (RF). “Prospects for the formation and regulation of a freight base of transboundary transport routes in the countries of the Common Economic Space”, Federal State Research Institution “Market Economy Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences”.
Grants are given directly to private individuals and research teams, with no mediation of institutions and organisations. The procedure of financing is defined based on an agreement between EDB and the grantee.
The contest winners may get an additional grant to participate in a conference organised by the Bank if the theme of their research project coincides with the topics covered of the conference.
Upon the completion of research projects, information on the results of research will be posted on the Bank’s website.
In addition, articles reflecting the results of research are to be published in the Journal of Eurasian Economic Integration.
