EDB invites journalists to take part in the international conference on Eurasian integration
Almaty, 4 October 2013. Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will hold the 8th International Conference titled Deepening and Expanding Eurasian Integration in Moscow on
EDB’s annual conferences bring together heads of the region’s authorities and integration associations and prominent experts. The participants in this forum include:
Viktor Khristenko, Chairman of the Board at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC);
Tatyana Valovaya, Member of the Board (Minister);
Sergey Glazyev, Advisor to the President of Russia;
Sergey Lebedev, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Executive Secretary of the CIS; and
Viktor Ivanter, Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The participants will discuss a wide range of issues relating to Eurasian integration, including mutual investments, prospects for cooperation between the EEC and Ukraine, coordination of macroeconomic policies of the region’s countries, integration of commodity markets, cross-border cooperation, the infrastructure aspects of integration, the single labour market, and public attitudes to integration.
A press conference on the most important issues of Eurasian integration is planned on the first day of the forum.
