EDB to take part in the EBRD Annual Meeting in Istanbul

Almaty, 8 May 2013. Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) delegation will take part in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) Annual Meeting, which will take place in Istanbul on 10-11 May. EDB delegation includes Deputy Chairmen of the Management Board Dmitry Zhurba and Sergey Shatalov, Dmitry Krasilnikov, Member of the Management Board and Managing Director for Corporate Finance, Nazira Satbekova, Head of the Capital Markets Department, and Mikhail Panchenko, Head of the External Relations Department.

In addition to taking part in the EBRD 22nd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors and Business Forum, EDB delegation will have a number of meetings with EBRD top officials, including vice-presidents and directors of the departments that govern the bank’s activities in the areas of institutional strategy, corporate and trade finance, syndicated loans and work with financial institutions. During these meetings prospects for cooperation between EDB and EBRD, including joint investment and implementation of projects in the banks’ member states are going to be discussed.

In addition, EDB delegation plans to meet heads of a number of financial institutions from Western Europe, the US, the CIS countries and Georgia, as well as national and international development banks.
