Eurasia 2030+: EDB to Hold Annual Meeting and Business Forum in Almaty

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will hold its Annual Meeting and Business Forum on June 25–26, 2026 in Almaty. The event will serve as a key international platform for discussing investment opportunities and long-term development strategies for the Eurasian region. Delegates from 15 countries are expected to participate, including representatives of multilateral banks, government bodies, international businesses, and the expert community. The highlight of the business program will be the plenary session “Eurasia 2030+: Investment, Growth and New Opportunities.”

We see international investors demonstrate growing interest towards infrastructure, transport corridors, energy and digital economy. The Annual Meeting and the EDB Business Forum create a space for open dialogue and joint efforts to identify solutions that will help unlock the region's investment potential," said Nikolai Podguzov, Chairman of the EDB Management Board.
Industry-specific dialogue and project presentations
The business program of the forum will cover a wide range of topics divided into thematic sessions. The participants will discuss global economic trends, investment in sustainable development, digital transformation, the future of Islamic finance in Central Asia, and the development of transport and logistics infrastructure, including the Eurasian Transport Network potential.
Special attention will be paid to the practical tools employed by the Bank:
- Presentations of the EDB's current investment projects
- Opportunities granted by the Technical Assistance Fund
- Presentations of new analytical studies
Other activities scheduled to take place as part of the event include business negotiations, signing of agreements and media briefings, including a press conference on the Annual Report and the EDB's Sustainability Report.
There will also be an exposition showcasing the key areas of the Bank's activities: EDB's projects, public-private partnership programs, educational projects run by the EDB Academy, initiatives of the Fund for Digital Initiatives and the Technical Assistance Fund.
