Head of Tajikistan’s National Bank Appreciates Cooperation with EDB

Almaty, 1 February 2012. “We highly appreciate our cooperation and good relationships with the Eurasian Development Bank and we deem it very important to continue and develop them,” states the letter from Abdujabbor Shirinov who has been recently appointed the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan.

“We hope that cooperation between our banks will strengthen in the context of new agreements and prospects,” Abdujabbor Shirinov wrote to Igor Finogenov, Chairman of the EDB Executive Board.

Abdujabbor Shirinov was appointed the head of the National Bank by a decree of the Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon on 24 January 2012. Before the appointment he
was Tajikistan’s ambassador to the U.S.
