10 July 2008
Kazakhstan contributed the outstanding $95.213 million to the charter capital of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), thus fully discharging its obligation to pay up its share of $500 million. Earlier, in January 2008, Russia also paid up its share in EDB’s capital ahead of schedule.
Now the authorised charter capital of EDB of $1.5 billion is fully paid up by Russia ($1 billion) and Kazakhstan ($500 million).
