Nikolai Podguzov, Chairman of the EDB Management Board, met with Abay Sarkulov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan

Nur-Sultan, 22 October 2020. Nikolai Podguzov, Chairman of the Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) Management Board, and Abay Sarkulov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan (DBK), met to discuss cooperation between their respective financial institutions.

The sides discussed how to boost the development banks’ cooperation in implementing integration and export-oriented projects in EDB member states – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, and Tajikistan. They also discussed ways to interact in implementing “green economy” projects and agreed to enhance the formats of cooperation.

Nikolai Podguzov invited Abay Sarkulov to take part in the First Eurasian Congress to be held by the EDB in Moscow on 4 December in the run-up to the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting.
