President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan meets Andrey Beliyaninov, Chairman of the Management Board at the Eurasian Development Bank

The President of Armenia, congratulating his guest on being appointed Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank, expressed confidence that Mr Belianinov’s long experience in both the public and private sectors will enhance the Bank’s role in the Eurasian space and help to implement new development programs in the member countries.

President Sargsyan and Andrey Beliyaninov discussed the prospects for deepening cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Eurasian Development Bank, attracting investment and building up the Bank’s capacity. Mr Beliyaninov stressed the Bank’s willingness to expand its commitments in Armenia, noting that during his visit he had already met with the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister of the Republic of Armenia, and was therefore well informed about the impressive pace of Armenia’s economic development.
