Rashid Kadyrov heads EDB Representative Office in Dushanbe
Almaty, 15 May 2013. Rashid Kadyrov was appointed as director of Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) Representative Office in Dushanbe. He will be in charge of arranging finance for the Bank’s investment projects in Tajikistan.
Rashid Kadyrov was born in 1968. In 1994 he graduated from the Kazakh State University of World Languages. In 1997 he obtained a bachelor’s degree and in 1999 an MBA from Durham University (UK).
Between 2000 and 2006 Mr Kadyrov worked at the regional office of the Islamic Development Bank in Almaty as economist and country coordinator.
In 2006 he joined EDB. Mr Kadyrov had several positions at the Bank’s Corporate Finance Department and headed the Financial Institutions and Rating Agencies Division.
As the director of the EDB Representative Office in Dushanbe Rashid Kadyrov will replace Galymzhan Oinarov, whose business trip to Tajikistan has come to an end and who will return home to continue work at EDB’s project block in Astana.
