The EDB and Business Development Group Telematics sign a memorandum of cooperation

Astana, 17 May 2018. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and Business Development Group Telematics (BDGT) signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop strategic partnership aimed at attracting investment for BDGT’s investment project.

The document was signed at the Global Challenges Summit (Astana Economic Forum) by Andrey Beliyaninov, Chairman of the EDB Management Board, and Yelzhas Tleuzhanov, Chairman of the Management Board at BDGT.

BDGT is a special purpose vehicle established and registered under the laws of Kazakhstan to run a PPP project to develop, implement and operate a toll collection system at toll roads and road sections in Kazakhstan.

The memorandum outlines the areas of cooperation relating to project finance and the exchange of experience and knowledge by participation in workshops, conferences, and business forums.

Under the memorandum, the EDB is ready to consider the opportunity of extending finance for the project and arrange interaction in the course of its co-financing.
