The EDB and KazakhExport intend to expand cooperation in supporting Kazakhstan’s exporters
Nur-Sultan, 22 October 2020. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and KazakhExport intend to expand support to Kazakhstan’s exporters. This possibility was discussed by Nikolai Podguzov, Chairman of the EDB Management Board, and Ruslan Iskakov, Chairman of the Management Board of KazakhExport.
The sides discussed how they could interact to develop industrial cooperation in EDB member countries – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, and Tajikistan. In particular, they discussed projects in non-primary and infrastructure sectors, including road construction, the power industry, and food security.
Nikolai Podguzov also invited Ruslan Iskakov to take part in the First Eurasian Congress to be held by the EDB in Moscow on 4 December in the run-up to the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting.
