The EDB and Kazpost lay the groundwork for future strategic cooperation

Nur-Sultan, 3 July 2019. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and Kazpost signed a memorandum of understanding aiming at developing and strengthening cooperation between the institutions in respect of dealings in the money and capital markets. The memorandum intends to strengthen the parties’ mutually beneficial partnership and sets forth the key aspect of their future cooperation.

The document was signed at a meeting between Andrey Beliyaninov, Chairman of the EDB’s Management Board, and Saken Sarsenov, CEO of Kazpost, in Nur-Sultan.

The parties also made an agreement on the terms and conditions of interbank transactions in the foreign exchange and money markets, which makes it possible for them to enter into both exchange and over-the-counter transactions.
