Moscow, 9 July 2020. Nikolay Podguzov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), and Alexander Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg, signed a letter of intent to implement and finance investment projects aimed at developing the city’s transport and utilities.

St. Petersburg and the EDB intend to communicate directly as regards potential projects.

“Speaking about the EDB’s relations with St. Petersburg, it’s worth saying that the only branch of our Bank is located here, in this beautiful city. We have had excellent results in the ‘northern capital.’ I’m sure that the experience and desire of St. Petersburg authorities to proceed with development projects open up great opportunities for continuing our work for the benefit of the city and its people,” said Nikolay Podguzov.
