The EDB and Transtelecom sign a memorandum of cooperation

Astana, 17 May 2018. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and Transtelecom (TTC) signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop strategic partnership aimed at attracting investment for Transtelecom’s projects.

The document was signed at the Global Challenges Summit (Astana Economic Forum) by Andrey Beliyaninov, Chairman of the EDB Management Board, and Zhanbolat Nadyrov, Chairman of the Management Board at Transtelecom.

The memorandum outlines the areas of cooperation relating to project finance and the exchange of experience and knowledge by participation in workshops, conferences, and business forums.

Under the memorandum, the EDB is ready to consider the opportunity of extending finance for Transtelecom’s projects in the framework of the EDB’s procedures and arrange interaction in the course of the joint financing of investment projects.

Over the recent years, Transtelecom completed a host of unique IT projects that contributed considerably to the implementation of the Digital Kazakhstan government programme. In 2018, Transtelecom rebranded itself as TTC to use a simpler and more vibrant name.
