The COVID-19-Free Travel app is planned to be developed as a platform for providing medical information and keeping medical examination records. The implementation and scaling up of the Work in the EAEU project was discussed with a view to piloting it in Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The participants emphasised the importance of a deep dive by the EDB country offices into the development of cross-border digital projects. In addition to piloting projects, it was proposed to create new institutional mechanisms and model solutions for national and integrated digital infrastructure.

The round table also discussed a qualitative transition in the economy during the preparation and implementation of digital projects that could promote the potential of various sectors in terms of human resources, jewellery and light industry exports as well as new opportunities offered by the transition to cross-border electronic cooperation in trade and transport.
