The EDB implements the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 international standard for information security management
In pursuance of the best international practices and requirements for information security, the Bank has completed the implementation of an information security management system that complies with the international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Technology – Security Techniques – Information Security Management Systems – Requirements.
The international certification body TÜV AUSTRIA has completed certification of the Bank’s management system in accordance with the applicable audit and certification procedures.
The relevant international certificates issued based on the results of this process confirm that the Bank’s management system complies with the above standard as regards the key areas of its operation.
In addition to demonstrating the Bank’s management and founders’ commitment to ensure high security of information of both the Bank and its partners, the certification also proves that the Bank’s information security processes comply with the best international practices in the industry.
The confirmation of compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 international standard should be conducive to improving the Bank’s financial and reputational rankings on the global scale and guarantees that it meets all the requirements for the protection of confidential information and that its information, as well as the information of its counterparties, is protected at the highest level, which confirms the Bank’s reliability as a partner institution.
