The EDB, KazakhExport, and Cool Infinity start cooperation to export railway wagons from Kazakhstan
Moscow, 4 December 2020. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), the KazakhExport Export Insurance Company, and Cool Infinity entered into a memorandum of cooperation to insure and finance Cool Infinity’s exports of railway wagons from Kazakhstan. The signing ceremony took place in the sidelines of the First Eurasian Congress. The document was signed by Nikolai Podguzov, Chairman of the EDB’s Management Board, Ruslan Iskakov, Chairman of the Management Board of KazakhExport, and Valentin Kargin, General Director of Cool Infinity.
Under the memorandum, the EDB intends to consider financing Cool Infinity’s project to upgrade its production of innovative refrigerator railcars. KazakhExport plans to offer financial and insurance solutions to finance subsequent exports by Cool Infinity.
“The signed tripartite memorandum is noteworthy. The EDB supports development and integration projects in its countries – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, and Tajikistan. I am confident that products by Cool Infinity will be in demand and will occupy their niche in the Bank’s countries,” said Nikolai Podguzov.
