The EDB signs an understanding and cooperation agreement with Rosatom

Sochi, 15 April 2019. Vsevolod Smakov, Head of Industry and Energy at the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), and Ilya Rebrov, Financial Director of Rosatom, signed an understanding and cooperation agreement at the 11th Atomexpo-2019 International Forum.

The agreement envisions joint work to fulfil Rosatom’s smart city, clean water, wind power and other projects.

The parties intend to jointly review Rosatom’s projects and create conditions for project financing by the EDB.

“The Bank is interested in advancing partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation to implement Rosatom’s projects,” Vsevolod Smakov commented.

“This agreement is an important step towards building a strategic partnership between Rosatom and the EDB,” Ilya Rebrov said.
