The EDB to finance AVTOBAN Group’s digitalisation
Moscow, Eurasian Congress, 2 December 2021. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) intends to finance AVTOBAN Group’s projects to digitalise road construction management in Russia. The first project could be the development of software for the Linear Subcontractor Management Portal. The relevant memorandum was signed at the Eurasian Congress by Denis Ilin, Vice Chairman of the EDB Management Board, Alexey Andreev, Director General of DSK AVTOBAN, and Yulia Shtrek, Advisor to the Director General of AVTOBAN-DIGITAL.
The Linear Subcontractor Management Portal is a digital in-house and subcontractor management system that enables detailed and precise planning of construction as well as monitoring at all stages of a road construction project. The solution makes it possible for all the participants to interact in a single digital environment and will improve the quality of planning, reduce costs, and speed up managerial decision-making.
As the bank's representatives pointed out, the EDB has worked extensively with AVTOBAN in the field of road construction. They have already implemented the Central Ring Road project and plan to cooperate in the construction of the Togliatti bypass. For now, a new chapter of cooperation is beginning, namely digitalisation, where EDB has acquired considerable expertise in a short period of time.
