The EDB to host its 14th International Conference on Eurasian Economic Integration on 29 November
Moscow, 16 September 2019. On 29 November 2019, the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will host its 14th International Conference on Eurasian Economic Integration.
Over the years, this conference has become a recognized floor for businesses, academia, governments, and international organisations to share their views on cooperation and coordination aimed at promoting competitive and stress-resistant development in the EDB member states and Eurasia as a whole.
This year, conference participants will discuss advanced development and cooperation tools in Eurasia. The key discussion points at the plenary session include the prospects for forming a common institutional space for integrated development; targeted socioeconomic effects of coordinated development; and linkages between national programmes, integration processes, and opportunities associated with the digitalisation of the common financial space of the EDB member states.
The conference will include theme panels to discuss the role of development institutions in implementing renewable energy projects; the promotion of the EDB member states’ exports in foreign markets; the humanitarian aspects of integration; the integration of financial markets; and the development of entrepreneurship and industrial cooperation to catalyse sustainable economic growth.
The event will traditionally bring together heads and representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission, ministries and authorities, international and national development institutions, academia, businesses, and experts from the Bank's member states and other countries.
