The EDB to host its Annual Meeting in Almaty on 27–28 June 2024
Almaty, 14 December 2023. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will host its Annual Meeting on 27–28 June 2024, bringing together a wide range of partners and experts, as announced by Nikolai Podguzov, Chairman of the EDB Management Board, at a press conference.
“The EDB Annual Meeting will serve as a platform for addressing crucial development issues of the entire macroregion. Beyond the Bank’s direct operations, we will hold a series of events to discuss interactions among multilateral financial organisations for the sustainable development of our countries and the financing of infrastructure, transport, water and energy. We will explore new capital mobilisation instruments, including Islamic finance, which is relevant today,” said Nikolai Podguzov.
The event will convene CEOs, board members, senior officials and representatives from development finance institutions and investment funds.
Alongside sessions, the meeting will feature presentations of new EDB reports and studies, high-level discussions and business negotiations.
