The government of the Komi Republic and the Eurasian Development Bank sign a memorandum of cooperation

Sochi, 15 February 2018. The government of the Komi Republic and the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) signed a memorandum of cooperation to foster coordination aimed at channelling investment to the Komi Republic and improving its investment attractiveness.

The document was signed at the 17th International Investment Forum “Sochi 2018” to outline key areas of cooperation between the parties.

In particular, they will interact to fulfil industrial, agricultural, energy and infrastructure projects, including the construction of logistics terminals, bridges, an airport, roads and other facilities, as well as mining projects. The sides also plan to arrange consultations and share expertise on mechanisms and tools to support and develop SMEs.
