Over 35 projects have already been submitted for the EDB’s DIF competition for digital solutions to combat COVID-19. Applications may be submitted until 4 October 2020
Moscow, 23 September 2020. The competition for the best digital solutions to counter the spread and overcome the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic arranged by the Eurasian Development Bank’s Digital Initiative Fund (EDB DIF), has already received 36 applications. Of these, one application is from Armenia, four from Belarus, twelve from Kazakhstan, eight from Kyrgyzstan, six from Russia, and five from Tajikistan.
The competition is open to any business or expert from the Bank’s member states (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, or Tajikistan) with competencies in the field of digital transformation.
It is important that solutions are readily available for testing and can be quickly implemented and potentially scaled up to all Eurasian countries. Projects that offer cross-sectoral solutions and focus on the development of integration will have a special advantage.
The winners of the competition will receive funding from the DIF to implement the proposed solutions.
To apply, please visit the respective section of the EDB’s website.
